Let’s get you in the “Q”! Aloha, Ciao, HELLO! I’m Jacquie, a.k.a “Miss Q” Brink, and I am the founder and CEO (Chief Experience Officer) of Rock & Roam Adventures®. I am a music obsessed, sports loving, travel junkie, who traded the board room and power suits, for boarding passes and a passport. And now I’m your new travel best friend! I take my 30 plus years of business knowledge, add in the thousands and thousand of hours of corporate travel, and combine it with my passion for experiential sales and marketing and create a magical journeys for busy professionals, retirees, group and solo women, and live entertainment and sports.

By removing the stress scrolling, I will turn the confusion into clarity and use my inside connections and sprinkle in some creativity, to curate experiences made for the way you want to travel, not the way everyone else thinks you should. While I specialize in areas like Hawaii and Italy, I can create an unforgettable experience just about anywhere in the world! I promise to make your travel rock, while you roam the world and not the internet!®

So basically what I’m saying is, things are about to get serious. I am here to help make your next adventure nothing less than EPIC!

FUN FACT: I have traveled to all 50 states, and have been to 3 of the 7 Continents, soon to be 4 when I travel to Africa in the fall of 2026.

LOOK, we get it, there are a million ways to plan a trip these days. DIY, travel blogs, travel agents who haven’t actually been to the place where you want to go. Or how about getting your cousin’s co-worker’s uncle who will provide hot insider tips after one trip? Oh, and don’t even get me started on the toxic social media pages full of “experts”. Then of course there are those endless videos from the PAID “travel influencers”. They are always in their perfect poses in same locations, with their perfectly filtered social media pages. It’s enough to make your head spin while you still have a hundreds of other things to do. If you have ever wondered “Is there a better way?”

Spoiler Alert: Absolutely there is!  Hi, it’s me…Miss Q.

If standing in long lines, joining cookie-cutter tours, and chasing “deals” that everyone else found online is your thing, no judgement here. But if you’re craving something different, something unforgettable, stress-free, and actually fun, then you’re in the right place.

So let’s bust some myth’s and the first one is this: “Using a Travel Advisor is way more costly.” Negative Ghost Rider. We actually SAVE you money! Here’s a few examples of how:

1. If you have spent countless hours scrolling numerous sites, (that most likely are owned by the same company by the way), and falling deeper into that internet rabbit hole, and still not sure what to book. Hard pass. We take away the stress scrolling and give you your time and sanity back. So all you have to do is pack your bags and your vacay vibe!

MYTH BUSTS AND FAQ’S:

• Myth: Travel Advisor is just a buzz word for a Travel Agent.
  • Busted! A traditional Travel Agent is there to just “book” things like hotels, airfare, and maybe a tour. PLOT TWIST! Have you ever heard the acronym OTA? Perhaps not because most people outside of the travel industry haven’t. So here’s what it means, ONLINE TRAVEL AGENT. And guess what companies are OTA’s? Drum roll please…Booking.com, Priceline, Hotels.com, VRBO, and on and on and on. And here is the rub. Some of these companies are all owned by the same parent company, like The Expedia Group. (You can pick your jaw up now., and clear your cookies) So what we’re trying to say is, even when you book yourself online, you are still using a travel agent.
    • The big difference is there is zero personalization and no trusted authority to help you sort through the online noise. OTA’s focus on the transaction volume rather than personalized service.
    • Your child has a food allergy? That’s on you to figure out how to protect them at each location. You have someone in your group that has mobility issues? Oh, sorry your vacation rental is at the top of 450 stairs, and there is no elevator.
    • This is why using a knowledgeable and trusted Travel Advisor and Guide is going to provide you with that custom VIP experience that you deserve. There is way more involved in this approach because we truly care about your journey, and sometimes it’s even cheaper! We will curate your trip the way YOU want it, not how everyone else is doing it.
• MYTH: I like to have full control over my travel plans. I don’t want to give that up to someone else.
  • BUSTED! We never take control of YOUR plans! You tell us what your expect, want, and need. We just make it happen. You have full access to our system the entire time, and you will always be able to make any changes you want. This is your trip, not ours.
• MYTH: I can book the same things online, even if it is an OTA. I don’t need a Travel Advisor.
  • SUPER BUSTED! Sure we have the same access to the sites that the general public has, and yes you can book things yourself online. What you CAN’T do is have backend access to some of those same sites, give yourself free upgrades and perks, get access to places that the general public cannot, and find quick assistance in case of disruptions to your travel. The personalization is the key, and if you truly want an immersive and unforgettable experience, Rock & Roam Adventures has you covered.
• FAQ: I like to build and use my partner points though. Won’t I lose that if I use a Travel Advisor.
  • NO! You can continue to use the same memberships and reward points, just like if you were to book directly. This includes things like flight vouchers, miles, credit card points, and hotel points.
• FAQ: Do you charge a cancellation fee?
  • In a normal situation, we do not. We will walk you through what canceling your trip looks like, and how to protect yourself and your investment, if you have to cancel for any reaon.
• FAQ: What happens if I am not ready to commit to a travel date yet?
  • That’s quite okay. You can reach out to us when you are ready and we’ll be here to assist.
• FAQ: Can’t I just use AI like ChatGPT to build my itinerary?
  • Of course you can if you don’t care about hallucinations! (we’re talking about providing factual errors, not psychedelics. Although sometimes I question my ChatGPT’s sobriety). This stuff is happening more and more and we are constantly helping people after they were taken down the wrong path. Literally and figuratively. It provides unrealistic and impractical logistics, and often ignores geographical constraints. We had one traveler contact us because they were lost in Italy trying to get to Venice from Florence. While that might seem like an easy drive, it sure isn’t when AI gave them information on Venice Beach, California, not Venice, IT. AI is a great tool, but should never be relied upon for accurate information, especially when you are investing a lot of money to travel.
• MYTH: It is so much more costly to use a Travel Advisor.
  • SUPER BUSTED!: As stated above, time is money. Our job is to get the most value for your money, not to book a transactional “budget” vacation. That’s Costco’s job. Because we offer different services, the costs for our services vary, depending upon the complexity of your trip, and in some cases our services are simply free. We partner with top suppliers and a private companies around the world to make sure your experience is immersive and experiential. We are compensated through a commission paid directly from them, and in most cases is already built into the publicly available rates.
• MYTH: Using a Travel Advisor is too fancy. I’m okay with just staying at a cheaper hotel and flying coach.
  • BUSTED! Luxury does have to mean expensive! Using a luxury Travel Advisor like Rock & Roam Adventures takes the logistics off of your plate and moves it on to ours. • MYTH: It seems like everyone is a “Travel Expert” nowadays. There is no need to have another one when I can just do my own research online, and use social pages.
  • SUPER BUSTED!: While there are thousands of “travel experts” who claim to be legitimate Travel Advisors, not all of them are created equal. Anyone can claim they know what they are doing, but Rock &. Roam Adventures can back it up. The best part is we don’t just sit behind our screen and sell you a location, we’ve actually have traveled to these locations. You would be shocked to find out that some Advisors book places like Europe, and never have actually been there!
    • Our CEO specializes in custom European and U.S. travel, for small groups, couples, families, and solo and group women travelers. She is certified for specific locations such as Italy, France, Ireland, Hawaii, Alaska, Michigan/Great Lakes, and a few others. However, that doesn’t mean that Rock & Roam Adventures® can’t assist you with a themed group cruise, a trip multi-gen trip to Disney®, or an Accessible trip to Costa Rica.
